Rubus idaeus Autumn Bliss
Height: 0,8–1 m
The most popular everbearing raspberry variety. A deciduous semi-shrub that grows to a height of 1.5-1.8 m, with sturdy, purplish-red canes. Its white flowers, borne in loose clusters, bloom from May to July. The fruits range from pale red to dark red and are harvested from mid-June to September. They can be eaten fresh or used to make jam and juices. It thrives in a sheltered, sunny or partially shaded spot and in well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. Its water needs are high, so pay attention to watering. In spring, once the danger of frost has passed, remove weakly developed canes as needed, and after harvest cut the two-year-old canes down to the ground. A support system is needed.
